The scale Nissum Bredning Test Site for WEC testing at Ydby, Nissum Bredning was in 2013-2014 added to the DanWEC testsites.

It was taken over from the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy, who established the test site in the nineties on a grant from the Energy Ministry. NBTS is part of the MARINET program, and in 2014 three WEC developers are expected to test at DanWEC NBTS.
